The other night I received a call from Monty at Crystal Bay Lodge in Petersburg Alaska. Monty told me his boat skipper loved the FAT Squid because halibut would swim past all baits and attack the FAT Squid. He said his skipper had to have more FAT Squids NOW!

He also said they were catching more and bigger fish than the other lodges and they were keeping the FAT Squids secret. That prompted me to have a holiday sale, in my small effort to spread the word and  give more anglers the opportunity to use FAT Squids.

FAT Squids are 10-inches long, have a stainless steel rigging cable, two heavy duty swivels and a stainless split ring for the hook. It comes standard with a 10/0 stainless J-hook but you can easily switch over to a circle hook. There's a scent ball above the hook for you to add your favorite scent flavor. You can also put a small piece of bait on the hook, but don't have to.

The FAT Squid also has a unique, "Light Hole" for the included chemical light or optional LED Light Stick. FAT Squids come in several UV colors that blaze to life when the sun's rays light them up in the water, to depths up to 500+ feet deep.

You can also try my brand new 5-inch mini FAT Squids.  These great squids are unrigged but work great for salmon, rockfish, halibut, lingcod, trout, bass and any other game fish.

Watch the action of the mini FAT Squid below. I put a very large salmon spoon in front of the squid, between the weight and lure to add a little bit of action to the squid. I also caught fish without the spoon. Just put the squid over a two hook leader. When using these for salmon fish them behind an 00 dodger or flasher.
